Housing Hunt: There and Back Again

We started to look at houses again this weekend, after taking a couple weeks break due to burn out and there not really being a lot on the market to choose from. Apparently not much has changed in our few weeks of holding off. I can't say that I was really excited to go back out there and look again, but there are a few that may be promising (total of 1). I'll write more if there's anything to report.

In other news, Mike decided Vince's butt is cute enough to take several photos of. Here's a shot that will embarrass him well when he's older (it is super cute!):

We also had a fun Easter at Mike's parents in New York. I wanted to give Vince the chance to dye some Easter Eggs this year so I dragged Mike out to pick up an Easter Egg Coloring Kit. Here's the only photo of Vince actually looking like he's helping to dip the eggs in the dye. In reality, he's trying to grab the egg and knock the glass over, and when we dropped the egg in the glass he had a fit because he couldn't get the egg back!

So he mostly watched while Mike and I did all the work. Maybe next year it will go better.

Here's a picture of everyone having cheerios for breakfast! Vince, Pop-Pop, and even Maxi had herself some cheerios.

Vote for your favorite Easter Candy

What is Easter without the candy!!? My favorites have always been Cadbury Cream Eggs, and I've come to realize that those Cream Eggs basically separate, like, THE WHOLE WORLD, into two categories, you either love them or detest them... would anyone agree?

And then there's marshmallow Peeps. Those things have a cult following like no other, my favorite thing is the Peep Candy Art that people have made with those sugar coated chicks. Totally amazing...... so if you care to have a voice, vote for your favorite Easter Candy! You'll see the voting poll just to the left of this post on the blog!

Happy Easter!

Vince had a good time meeting Ms. Easter Bunny, here's one of the better photos with the two of them together... and his signature hat (thanks to Nonna!). It was no small miracle that the photographers were able to get a shot of Vince both without trying to accost the bunny and without trying to take his hat off!

The poor Easter Bunny ended up getting dragged a few times by the ears when Vince was able to get a good grasp and manage a good pull of a couple 3-4 inches before we were able to run over and stop him. Luckily Ms. Easter Bunny was pretty chill about it all.

Here's a few more fun photos from the photography session. We had so much fun getting Vince to smile (it's never that hard).

Here's our little mini man obviously stating that he's number one!

The sweetest little face!

Getting tickled by the flower!

Here's an untouched-up shot of Vince at the beginning of an ear grab

OK, now MAYBE he looks like a Vinnie here....

Double Trouble in the Swing

Vince and his pal Adam took to the swings together on Sunday. It helped having Adam in there so we didn't have to use blankets to fill up the empty space this time! Vince was out of it for most of the time in the swing, it might have had something to do with the fact that I woke him up from his nice stroller nap... secondary to the selfish reasons of wanting to see how cute the two of them would look in the swing together.

Adam and Vince hangin together

Vince protested for the most part, but we got a few giggles out when swinging them

Lastly, we tried putting them facing the same way... so they looked like they were on some sort of Disney ride together.
